WPS Admissions Information 

 

Admission to WPS Nursery

WPS offers fifty two Nursery places each academic year.  The majority of places are for 15 hours, three hours per day. Eight of our places are currently offered on a thirty hour basis.

Attendance at WPS Nursery does not guarantee a place in WPS Reception Classes. Admission to WPS Reception classes is dependent on the local authority admissions process.

WPS offers ninety Reception places each academic year.

To apply for a place at WPS you need to apply through the local authority.

As a community school the following criteria are used to allocate places :

  1. Looked after children
  2. Siblings
  3. Nearness to the school

In year transfer

If you would like to transfer your child to WPS, please contact us directly if they are in Y1 to Y6. (admin@wooltonprimary.com)

Transfer to Secondary School

To ensure the smooth transition of your child to secondary school we offer information, advice and meetings throughout the process , these commence in Y5. 

Dates will be added shortly for the Autumn Term Secondary Transfer Meetings for current Y6 parents/carers.
