A big welcome from the Year 5 team – Mr Harkin, Miss Williams, Mr Chapman and Mrs Hariz. We are delighted to share a little about life in Year 5 with you. Year 5 is the first step on the Upper Key Stage 2 journey, and it plays a very important role in preparing children for Year 6 and the next stage of their education. During this year, the children continue to grow in independence, resilience and responsibility as learners.

Year 5 is a busy and exciting time, and we work hard to create a positive, supportive and engaging environment where every child feels valued, confident and ready to learn.
