Pupil Premium
At Woolton Primary, we are committed to ensuring that every pupil has the opportunity to achieve their full potential, regardless of their background. The Pupil Premium is additional government funding allocated to schools to support disadvantaged pupils, helping to close the attainment gap and provide equal access to high-quality education.
Our approach to using Pupil Premium funding is focused on targeted support that meets the specific needs of our pupils, including those eligible for free school meals, pupils with special educational needs, and those facing other barriers to learning. This funding enables us to enhance teaching and learning, improve attendance, and provide tailored pastoral support to foster a warm, inclusive, and neurodiverse-friendly environment.
We regularly review and publish our Pupil Premium strategy to ensure transparency and demonstrate how this funding is making a positive impact on the educational outcomes and well-being of our pupils and their families.
