Supporting families to reduce and tackle EBSA at Woolton Primary School
At Woolton Primary School, we recognise that Emotional, Behavioural, and Social Anxiety (EBSA) can present significant barriers to a pupil’s engagement and progress. Our dedicated Pastoral Support and Inclusion Teams work closely with pupils and their families to provide tailored support aimed at reducing these challenges. We adopt a holistic approach that includes early identification, personalised interventions, and ongoing monitoring through the graduated ‘assess, plan, do, review’ process. By working collaboratively with parents, carers, and external specialists, we ensure that each pupil’s emotional and social needs are understood and addressed effectively. Our school is committed to creating a nurturing environment that fosters resilience, wellbeing, and positive attendance, helping families to overcome difficulties and enabling pupils to thrive both academically and personally.
