Dyslexia
Dyslexia is a common learning difference that affects the way some children read, write, and spell. It is not a reflection of a child’s intelligence or effort, but rather how their brain processes language. Children with dyslexia may find it harder to recognise letters and sounds, which can make reading and writing more challenging. With the right support and teaching strategies, pupils with dyslexia can develop their skills and succeed in school. At Woolton Primary, we are committed to understanding and supporting all pupils, including those with dyslexia, to help them reach their full potential.
