Attendance
At Woolton Primary School we believe regular school attendance is very important for every child’s learning and development. Each day at school is a chance to discover new ideas, build confidence, and share experiences with friends and teachers. When children attend school consistently, they are more likely to keep up with their work, develop good habits, and achieve their best. Being in school every day also helps children feel part of the school community, supporting their social skills and friendships. Together, we can make sure that every child has the opportunity to enjoy their learning journey to the fullest.
We understand that children can sometimes be unwell and may need to stay at home to rest and recover. If your child is ill and unable to attend school, we kindly ask that you call the school office by 8:30am to let us know. This helps us keep accurate records and ensures your child’s teacher is aware of their absence. If we haven’t heard from a family by this time, we will make contact to carry out a welfare check, as your child’s safety and wellbeing are always our priority. Thank you for working with us to keep every child safe and supported.
